Alex Hales has led England to a remarkable record breaking score in the ODI against Pakistan overnight.
England blasted the highest ever one-day international score of 3-444, before dismissing Pakistan for 275, to record a 169-run win.
The total surpassed Sri Lanka's 9-443 set in 2006.
The score was also the highest ODI total in a match between two Test nations, overtaking South Africa's 439 against the West Indies at Johannesburg last year.
Opener Jason Roy fell cheaply for 15 in the sixth over, after England won the toss and elected to bat. However, from there, it was all one way traffic.
Joe Root joined Hales at the crease and the pair shared in a 248-run partnership, which last 31 overs.
Hales in particular smashed the bowlers to all parts, scoring 171 from just 122 balls, in an innings which included 22 fours and four sixes. Root scored 85 from 86 deliveries in a wonderful cameo to Hales' incredible knock.
Hales' knock was the highest ever by an Englishman in an ODI match.
Root and Hales fell in quick succession, leaving England 3-283 after 38 overs.
Eoin Morgan and Jos Butler then continued the rampage, scoring 90 from 51 balls and 57 from 27 balls respectively, as they remained unbeaten at the end of the innings.
Butler notched the quickest ever ODI fifty by an English batsman, reaching the milestone off just 22 balls.
In reply, Pakistan were never in the hunt, losing wickets regularly as they searched for quick runs.
Opener Sami Aslam and No.10 Mohammed Amir top scored with 58, while Chris Woakes claimed four wickets for the hosts.
