Erebus Motorsport has confirmed that it will ditch its Mercedes V8 Supercars and race Holdens in 2016.

The announcement confirms off-season speculation that it was set to ditch the cars it has campaigned for the last three seasons with flashes of success.

“Holden has proved its competitiveness in the sport again and again,” team owner Betty Klimenko said.
