Erebus Motorsport has confirmed that it will ditch its Mercedes V8 Supercars and race Holdens in 2016.

The announcement confirms off-season speculation that it was set to ditch the cars it has campaigned for the last three seasons with flashes of success.

โ€œHolden has proved its competitiveness in the sport again and again,โ€ team owner Betty Klimenko said.
