Ferrari is in mourning today as they prepare to attend the funeral of one of their former mechanics, Paolo Scaramelli, who looked after Jody Scheckter in his championship winning season.

The funeral for Scaramelli will be held at 10:30 am this morning (Italian time) in Corlo near Modena.

“Scaramelli had worked with Scuderia for many years, clinching the World Championship with Jody Scheckter in 1979,” Ferrari said in a statement.

“He passed away suddenly in the night of November, 29th, the victim of a heartattack. He was 75. Ferrari's deepest sympathies go to Paolo's family.”
