The elevated emotional level that will be present in Mugello this weekend will be a defining characteristic for Sylvain Guintoli, the replacement rider for injured Suzuki Ecstar rider Alex Rins.
Guintoli is a fan of the speed of this circuit and he is also eager to continue the development work started two weeks ago in Le Mans on the GSX-RR.
"After a very exciting return to MotoGP with the GSX-RR in Le Mans, I hope we can build on this experience to improve the pace,” the Frenchman said. “Mugello has always been one of my favourites."

The 5.245km Mugello circuit has been renovated to the highest standards and has a growing reputation as one of the world's most up-to-date, scenic and safest race circuits in the world.
