Nick Kyrgios has produced a stunning display to record his first ever victory over world No.2 Andy Murray.
The young Aussie got Australia Green off to the perfect start in their Hopman Cup tie against Great Britain, recording a 6-4, 7-6 win over Murray.
Krygios produced some scintillating shots, troubling Murray with his power and aggression, as he combined well worked points, with pure strength to have Murray scrambling at the back of the court.
It is a great sign for the world No.30, who could well produce some big upsets at this month's Australian Open if his current form continues.
Admittedly, Murray was not at his best, lacking the fluency and consistency in his game that we have become accustomed to. However, at this early stage in the year, it is no cause for concern for the four-time Australian open finalist, while Kygios will take great confidence from the win heading into the first Grand Slam of the year.
