Ferrari test driver Charles Leclerc was the quickest of the twelve drivers in action around the Hungaroring circuit on Tuesday after recording 98 laps of the Budapest track on day one of the second in season test to record a best overall time of 1:17.746.
Following close behind was the Malaren of Stoffel Vandoorne, fresh from his tenth placed finish in the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon, who was less than a tenth off the Ferrari drivers pace after recording 72 laps.
Next up were the two Mercedes drivers, led by Valtteri Bottas.
The Finn was third quickest overall after a whopping 155 laps, however he was a second off Leclerc's leading pace as he worked on the Pirelli programme of 2018 Slick tyre development.
Young Mercedes driver George Russel was fourth ahead of Lance Stroll in the Williams, who rounded out the top five.
