Liverpool has rejected a staggering bid of around $80 million for Raheem Sterling from Manchester City.

City's previous bid of $60 million for Sterling was rejected earlier in the transfer window, but the 2013/14 Premier League Champions made another bid Wednesday night, Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Liverpool's valuation for Sterling is said to be $100 million, with Chelsea not prepared to meet the Merseyside club's demands, despite also being interested in the 20-year-old.

Several other European clubs have also signaled interested in Sterling, with the winger turning down the $200,000 a week deal put to him by Liverpool.
