Victorian opener Will Pucovski has been subbed out of his side's Sheffield Shield match against South Australia after suffering another concussion during a routine warm-up.
Pucovski has battled ongoing issues with head knocks throughout his young career, having spent a majority of the past 12 months on the sidelines recuperating from concussions and shoulder surgery.
The 24-year-old made his Shield return this week when he was named in Victoria's match against the Redbacks at Adelaide Oval.
In an impressive opening stand with Marcus Harris, Pucosvki amassed 54 runs from 123 balls in Victoria's opening innings in what was an ideal return for the emerging batsman.
However, Pucovski is understood to have suffered further setbacks in his long-awaited return to first-class cricket, having sustained a head knock during training prior to play on day four of the Test.
Victoria revealed that Pucovski required medical attention after suffering a concussion whilst fielding.
