Sergio Ramos looks to be headed to Old Trafford, in what would be one of the biggest transfers of the summer.

Real Madrid is very keen to lure Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea to the club, with the 24-year-old having a career best season in 2014/15.

The Red Devils are believed to have accepted that they will probably lose De Gea to Madrid, but are keen to get value for their outgoing keeper, in the form of star backman Sergio Ramos.

Ramos is reportedly unhappy at Madrid, with several newspapers in the U.K, including The Guardian and the Daily Mail Mirror, reporting that England is his preferred destination.

This would make for a straight swap between the pair, should the deal eventuate.

It remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will accept United's deal of De Gea for Ramos, but it appears more likely than not, with Dea Gea very high on Real's wish list.
