The Brazilian crowd is always thrilled to have the Formula One circus come to town, but when there is one of their own on the grid, the reception is so much greater.

Then add to that reception the fact that is the Brazilian drivers final home race and we can expect the grandstands to explode whenever the Mercedes powered Williams of Felipe Massa comes by.

Felipe has always received a raucous reception, and he is hoping to reward them with his sixth podium finish at the Interlagos circuit, the penultimate grand prix of his Formula One career.

The weather forecast for the coming weekend doesn't look too good with a chance of showers on both Saturday and Sunday and a wet race only increases Felipe's chances of putting his Williams up and onto the podium!

โ€œInterlagos is home,โ€ he said. โ€œIt's the place that I grew up. It will be emotional racing there for the final time on such an amazing track. I'm looking forward to enjoying every single lap and hopefully I can manage to finish the race with a good result. I have won twice at Interlagos and have finished on the podium many times over the years and I hope we can get another one. It won't be easy, but I will do everything I can for my people and for Brazil in my last race at home.โ€
