The Matildas have booked their ticket to the 2016 Rio Olympics with a 2-1 win over North Korea on Monday night, qualifying for their first Olympic games in 12 years.
After three wins from three opening games of qualification, Australia needed only a draw to garantee their passage to Rio.
Michelle Heyman opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a lovely first time hit from a Caitlin Foord cross.
North Korea then began a vicious assault of the Aussies, with several dangerous and reckless challenges, but somehow no red cards were shown.
Just 12 minutes from time, North Korea found an equaliser through Sugyon, before Katrina Gorry netted the winner for Australia just four minutes later to seal the win and passage to the Rio Olympics.
The Matildas will now play China on Wednesday night will the knowledge they have already qualified for the Olympic Games in Rio.
