Teams continue to confirm the young drivers that will be taking part in the second in season test of the year with McLaren the latest outfit to announce that young British European Formula Three driver, Lando Norris, will be behind the wheel of the Honda powered MCL32 in Hungary after this weekend's race.
“Stoffel and McLaren Young Driver Lando Norris will be driving the MCL32 in the upcoming test in Budapest. Stoff will drive on Day 1 with Lando taking over on Day 2,” they said in a statement.
At just 17 years of age, Norris has already taken victory three times in his rookie season in the Formula Three Championship and the Woking based squad believe him to be a world champion in the making.
The test is part of his award from winning the McLaren BRDC (British Racing Drivers' Club) Autosport award in 2016 which comes complete with an F1 test and a simulator role. He has already had one test for the team, back in Portugal in May behind the wheel of their 2011 contender.
