Aaron Mooy will reportedly smash the A-League transfer record this this season, with several European clubs keen on signing the Melbourne City star.
The Herald Sun has reported that the bidding for Mooy this transfer window will reach over $4 million.
EPL, English Championship, Spanish, German, French, Dutch and Belgian clubs have shown interest in the 26-year-old, whose sublime form in both the A-League and for the Socceroos has attracted global interest.
Belgium side Brugge is reportedly favourite to secure his signature.
Mooy has scored 11 goals and provided an A-League record 20 assists this season.
The current A-League transfer record is Central Coast's sale of Rostyn Griffiths to Guangzhou R&F for $1.2 million in 2012, while the most money an A-League club has received is Perth Glory's $1.5 million loan fee from Roda JC for Daniel De Silva.
