As part of the new look Formula One for the 2017 season, teams have been asked by the FIA to make their drivers names and numbers clearer on their respective cars so that fans can easily identify their favourite driver when he is on track.
While this has never been a real issue for most fans, as they can easily pick their driver by his helmet, teams have obliged with the request in time for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.
Mercedes-AMG has now revealed pics of their ‘new' livery that easily allows fans to see just which driver is on track at any given time.
The driver's names now appear on the side of each car, and the existing driver numbers on the front have been made larger.
