Brazilian legend Ronaldinho could feature in the FFA Cup Round of 32, with Wollogong Wolves.
FoxSports reports that the Wolves have been in discussions with Ronaldino's agent to join the side as a guest player for their August 10 fixture against Sydney FC.
Ronaldino's agent and brother will be in Australia next week to try to finalise a deal for the the FFA Cup fixture.
“We have made a formal offer but we haven't had a response yet,” Wollongong club director Dean Merola confirmed to Fox Sports.
“Ronaldinho made an offer to come to the club and we've made a counter offer.
“We know he is interested in coming to the A-League as a marquee.
“As a prospect A-League club in the future we are willing to create a platform to show his wares. The deadline for a response is tomorrow.”
The former Brazilian international is also reportedly considering a move to the A-League as a marquee player.
