Octo Pramac Racing confirmed on Saturday that they have renewed Danilo Petrucci's contract, the Ducati rider now firmly under contract to ride the Desmosedici GP in the 2018 MotoGP season.
Petrucci has been with the team for two years and the team firmly believes that they were right to take a chance on him, more so now that he gave them a brilliant second place in Germany shortly after agreeing to the new deal.
“I am very happy to stay with Octo Pramac Racing, I am glad to remain in the team I consider my home,” he said. “I am also proud to be the longest-serving rider in the history of such an important team.”
