What is the impact the Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Ja Morant, and LaMelo Ball trades on the rest of the NBA?

Stars have shifted alignment in the NBA's ever-changing landscape, with some of the league's marquee players set to shake up the league on their new teams moving forward.

It hasn't been since 2019, when the likes of Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler, Paul George and Russell Westbrook were traded where we've seen an off-season like this, making it all the more relevant to go through and rank the most league-changing trades.

These rankings will be based on their impact on the league and how they will change the NBA landscape moving forward, rather than on how fair they were to each team.

1Giannis takes talents to South Beach

Miami Heat get: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bobby Portis

Milwaukee Bucks get: Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez, Kasparas Jukucionis, 2026 first-round pick (No. 13), 2031 first-round pick, 2033 first-round pick, 2030 pick swap, 2033 second-round pick

Miami got their man after years of news speculation and rumours that has culminated in Giannis being paired with one of the league's most prolific coaches, Erik Spoelstra. Giannis is the go-to first option the Heat has been looking for since Jimmy Butler's departure and the type of player who can elevate his game come playoff time.

Spacing is the biggest issue here with Davion Mitchell and Andrew Wiggins hoping to carry the perimeter-shooting load for a team that is about to lose a possible all-star in Norman Powell to free agency. Though this is still Giannis, meaning you're at least going to be more than okay at putting the ball in the hole even if it is only through the paint.

For the Bucks, it's almost a relief to finally move their franchise player after the shadow of uncertainty that has shrouded the team for the last couple of years. Herro, Ware and Jaquez are all extremely promising young players who can all offer something different for you offensively  while having already played in a structured defensive system.
