Canadian Milos Raonic has advanced to the final of the Brisbane International, with a 7-6, 7-6 victory over Australian Bernard Tomic.

Raonic raced to a 5-1 lead in the first set tiebreak, however, Tomic fought back to level the scores at 5-5, before Raonic claimed the final two points.

The pair once again couldn't be separated in the second set, taking it to another tiebreak.

The second set tiebreak was an exact replica of the first, with Raonic racing to a 5-1 lead. Tomic once again fought back to level at 5-5, however, was unable to close it out, eventually losing the breaker 7-5.

Raonic will face the winner of Roger Federer and Dominic Thiem in the final on Sunday.
