Arsenal is reportedly prepared to break its club record transfer fee in a bid to lure Juventus striker Alvaro Morata to the North London club, according to the Evening Standard.
The Gunners are said to be willing to splurge over theย ยฃ42.4 million ($86 million) they spent on midfielder Mesut Ozil back in 2013.
Morata scored 11 goals in all competitions this season for Juventus, as the Italian giants won a record equalling fifth Serie A title.
The 23-year-old has made 63 appearances for Juventus since joining the club in 2014.
