Arsene Wegner is reportedly keen to lure Socceroo Tom Rogic to Arsenal to bolster the club's midfield depth.
The Arsenal boss is said to be "optimistic" about securing signature of the 23-year-old Australia.
The Sun has reported that Rogic would cost Wegner around £7 million.
Rogic joined Celtic from Central Coast Mariners in 2013 and enjoyed his best season for the hoops, netting 10 goals in 39 appearances in all competitions.
He also won Celtic's goal of the season for 2015-16.
Arsenal has already signed highly rated midfielder Granit Xhaka for £30 million and is reportedly preparing a £38 million bid for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata.
