Melbourne City are reportedly set to offer Denmark goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen a one-year deal.
The 39-year-old has made over 400 appearances in the English Premier League with stints at Sunderland, Aston Villa and Stoke City.
Sorensen was expected to retire at the end of the last season, but Melbourne City are believed to be interested in tempting him to postpone his retirement to sign with the A-League club.
The veteran has made 101 appearances for Denmark.
