The Mariners have provided an update on 23-year-old defender Storm Roux, following yesterday sickening injury against Melbourne City.
Roux has suffered a fractured fibula as well as ligament disruption after his leg appeared to get caught in the AAMI Park turf on Sunday.
In the incident, Roux also suffered a dislocated shoulder.
The Kiwi will undergo surgery on his leg today, while his shoulder will be assessed later in the week.
