Taz Douglas has been confirmed in a last minute deal for the upcoming Winton Supersprint where he will race alongside Alex Rullo at Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport.
Douglas, who sat out the recent Perth Supersprint, will be backed by Repair Management Australia, in the number 3 contender after an eleventh hour decision due to late securing of the naming rights sponsorship this week.
“I'm really looking forward to what this weekend will bring, It's been a while since I've driven at Winton,” Taz said. “I'm going to give it my best effort, I have full support from Phil (Munday), Lucas (Dumbrell) and the team.”
Douglas hasn't driven at Winton Motor Raceway since 2016 when he became the fifth driver in the Kumho series history to sweep more than one round – thanks to an unbroken streak of six straight wins.
