For four days every April, the eyes of the golfing world converge on a verdant pocket of Georgia, USA.

It's Masters time, and the crème de la crème of long-bombers, dead-eyed approachers and assassin-like putters all have their own eyes on the prize.

At Augusta, eveything is green, except of course the azure-dyed water hazards. The greens and the fairways are both manicured and lsuh; even then big prize on offer is rye-tinged, the coveted green jacket.

Ever since the first Masters scorecard was submitted in 1934, the winner's board at Augusta National has come to mirror the annals of golf itself, with everyone who is anyone having toasted on that last muggy Sunday at some stage.

Well, just about everyone, as there are a few jacket racks still missing their share of Pantone 342.

From an amphibious Aussie prone to a choke right through to a modern-day great with a spot to fill on his mantel, here are the five best golfers who have never won The Masters.
