The New York Knicks have just swept in the conference finals against the Cavs, guaranteeing them a spot in the NBA Finals for 2026, making them one step closer to their first championship since 1973.

Since going down 2-1 against the Hawks in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, Mike Brown and the Knicks have completely flipped the script and become one of the more dominant playoff teams we have seen. But how have they done this?

Efficient offence

In the playoffs, the Knicks have turned into an offensive juggernaut completely from nowhere. Led by their stars Jalen Brunson and Karl Anthony-Towns. Their offensive rating of 124.1 is among the best in the playoffs at the moment.

They have also been ultra-efficient at shooting the basketball, shooting 59.3% from the 2-point range and 39.6% from the three, which are the best percentages among playoff teams.

Even though they are playing weaker teams in the Eastern Conference, you can't take their insane shooting percentages away from them.
