BBC Radio Leicester has reported that Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy is set to miss two weeks as he undergoes minor groin surgery.

The Premier League's current leading goal scorer for the 2015-16 season will miss this Sunday's FA Cup match against Tottenham and most likely also miss the side's EPL clash against Spurs three days later.

He is expected to return for Leicester's clash with Aston Villa on January 16.

Vardy has scored 15 Premier League goals this season and he has made a total of 24 appearances in all competitions this campaign.
