Sebastian Vettel made it a good day for Ferrari for the first day of play here in Mexico by finishing the second and final free practice session at the top of the timesheets. With his Ferrari equipped with the super soft Pirelli rubber, Sebastian's best time was .004 faster than reigning world champion, Lewis Hamilton, who finished the day second overall.

Current championship leader, Nico Rosberg, was third fastest with the second Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen in fourth. Aussie racer Daniel Ricciardo rounded out the top five, almost seven tenths of a second off Vettel's leading pace.

“It's tricky to find the right set up in these condition,” Ricciardo said. “We improved it a bit from this morning but it was still a bit tricky out there. The supersoft was not a great tyre out there today.“

The second Red Bull of Max Verstappen was forced to sit out most of the first ninety minute session after suffering a brake fire and with a late start to the second session, the flying Dutchman finished seventh fastest overall, behind the Force India of Max Verstappen.
