David Warner has done what no other Test cricketer has done before, with a sublime knock on the first morning of the third Test.
Warner blasted a century off just 78 balls in the opening session on day one of the SCG Test, becoming the first player to score a hundred in the first session of a Test match in Australia and only the fifth player in Test history to do so.
He is the first player in 41 years to score a ton in the first session of day one of a match.
His 78 ball ton is the fourth fastest Test century by an Australian.
After winning the toss and electing to bat, Australia reached 0-126 at lunch on day one.
Warner is 100 not out, while Renshaw is unbeaten on 25.
