The Shanghai International Circuit is now a classic on the Formula One calendar, however back in 2004 when teams arrived in China for the very first time, it caused quite a bit of a stir.

Just a few years earlier, even the thought of a race in China was unthinkable but it didn't take long for the F1 fraternity to take it into their hearts.

Ferrari won the first race here with Rubens Barrichello and now, thirteen years later, they arrive here fresh off victory in the season opener in Melbourne Australia.

However, he may have crossed the line first, but Sebastian Vettel hasn't changed his feet-on-the-ground attitude…

"The real expectations we have is to try and do well. Good conditions and good luck will be important, as well as the set-up of the car,” he said. “If we can be close to Mercedes that means we can be close to the top: we will just try to do well and then we will see what it will be. We are working better as a team and have improved from last year. We did very well in Australia, but that was only one race. Still, we have potential and can do better”.
