The West Indies have beaten Australia by four wickets in St Kitts, thanks largely to a brilliant knock from Marlon Samules.
Sent into bat, Australia struggled to pose a formidable total, reaching 7-265 off 50 overs.
Aaron Finch was dismissed for a duck in the opening over, but then Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith built an impressive partnership, before the latter was removed for 74 , caught and bowled Brathwaite in the 35th over when the score was 171.
Khawaja looked on track for his maiden ODI ton, before he was run out an agonizing two runs short on 98. George Bailey then smashed a run a ball half century, however, the run rate began to dip as he ran out of partners towards the end of the innings, as Australia failed to make the most of the positive start, scoring just 93 runs from the final 15 overs.
Samuels then took the game away from the Aussies in the chase, blasting 92 off 87 at No.4. He was aided by handy cameos from Johnson Charles (48), Darren Bravo (39) and Danesh Ramdin (29), as the hosts reached the target with four overs to spare and six wickets in hand.
Adam Zampa finished with figures of 2-60 for Australia, while Coulter-Nile also picked up two wickets.
