The visit by West Indies to Pakistan in early 2023 is most likely to be postponed amid the scheduling of domestic T20 leagues around the world.

It may be possible for players from both sides to become available for the various T20 leagues at that time due to the resulting gap in the schedule.

That month, there will be the ILT20 in the United Arab Emirates, the SA20 in South Africa, the BBL in Australia, and the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

No Pakistani athletes have been granted NOCs for the ILT20. Perhaps the beneficiary is the BPL, which appears to be where some players will wind up in the newly available space, with CricInfo reporting that the boards will confirm a move of the tour soon.

The Windies were visiting Pakistan for a three-match series of T20Is series in January 2023.

Now the series will be rescheduled to 2024, when the visitors stay for three tests as well, making for a longer tour.

However, the West Indies have already played twice in Pakistan this year; hosting West Indies again could have been an overload of cricket for fans. 

The series was going to take place after the New Zealand tour. The Kiwis are going to feature in two tests and three ODIs between mid-December and January.
