Shane van Gisbergen may have taken three pole positions at his home track this weekend, two on Saturday and his third on Sunday morning, but for the fourth and final race of the weekend, it was teammate Jamie Whincup at the top of the leaderboard.
The Red Bull duo will start alongside each other for race 27 after van Gisbergen took P2, however race 26 will see Scotty Pye alongside van Gisbergen with Whincup starting out of P5. Taking pole for the day's second race was due to quick changes to his Red Bull during the few minutes available between sessions.
โHappy days, I didn't quite nail it in the first one, but Cauchi tuned it for the second and she's like a rocket now,โ Jamie said after the second session.
Scott McLaughlin and Chaz Mostert will start from row two with Mark Winterbottom and Fabian Coulthard on row three.
Will Davison, Scott Pye, Craig Lowndes and James Moffat round out the top ten.
