World No.1 Serena Williams has conceded just three games on her way to a dominant second round victory at the Australian Open.

Williams defeated Taiwan's Su-Wei Hsieh 6-1, 6-2 in exactly one hour as she looks to capture her seventh Australian open title.

The reigning champion smashed 26 winners and seven aces en route to the third round, and won 85 percent of her points on first serve.

Williams will play Daria Kasatkina in the next round, after the Russian defeated Croatia's Ana Konjuh 6-4, 6-3 earlier on day three
