Adelaide United coach Josep Gombau could be set to leave the Reds after being closely linked with a move overseas.
Gombau has reportedly been in talks with New York City FC in the MLS and could take up a role on the club's coaching staff.
Barcelona legend Guillermo Amor is believed to be in the box seat to replace Gombau as coach.
Adelaide announced earlier today that the club will hold a press conference today at 1pm, regarding "a major announcement about the direction of the club for the upcoming season." It is not known if the press conference is regarding Gombau.
