Western Australian keeper-batsman Cameron Bancroft will make his international debut in the third Twenty20 match against India on Sunday at the SCG.
Bancroft will come into the side for Victorian keeper Matthew Wade, who is jetting off to New Zealand to prepare for Australia's ODI series against the Kiwis.
Steve Smith, Dave Warner, Mitch Marsh, Josh Hazlewood, Adam Zampa, John Hastings, Kane Richardson and George Bailey are also leaving for New Zealand this weekend.
