The trade deadline is looming, with only a few weeks to go until February 6th (Australian time). There are a few big names that are rumoured to be on the move, but which teams will be willing to trade for these stars?

Ja Morant

The writing seems to be on the wall for Morant to be at a new destination after Memphis made it known they are willing to listen and take offers for the two time all star.

Morant did express his desire to stay in Memphis amid all the rumours, "I got a [Grizzlies tattoo] on my back, so that should tell you exactly where I want to be."

The most likely landing spot for Morant seems to be Milwaukee, who are desperate to find help alongside Antetokounmpo. Memphis would receive a good deal in return, even with Morant's value low at the moment.

A deal could look like memphis recieving Ryan Rollins, Bobby Portis, Kyle Kuzma and a first-round pick for Ja Morant.

Other teams interested in the star guard are the Sacramento Kings, Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Anthony Davis

One year since the Luka Doncic blockbuster trade, Anthony Davis has been at the forefront of the deadline rumours.

There were many teams interested in Davis just before his injured hand, but it seems teams have pulled back their interest.

The team that seems most interested in the 10-time all-star is the Atlanta Hawks, who just traded star guard Trae Young to the Wizards. The Mavericks have also been interested in the 2024 number one pick, Zaccharie Risacher.

A deal with the Hawks could look like the Mavericks receiving Kristaps Porzingis, Zaccharie Risacher and a first-round pick for Anthony Davis.

Teams that could also potentially go for Davis include the Toronto Raptors, Chicago Bulls and Golden State Warriors.

Michael Porter Jr.

The emergence of Michael Porter Jrn this season has put his name into many trade rumours, with his value currently at an all-time high. The Nets are currently in a rebuilding era, and trading Porter Jrn can help them fast-track their plans.

Many teams are interested in the sharpshooter, as he is a player who can fit seamlessly on any roster. The Golden State Warriors have been one team rumoured heavily, while the Pistons seem one who could pull the trigger on a trade.

A Pistons deal could look like the Nets receiving Tobias Harris, Caris LeVert, along with two or three first-round picks for Michael Porter Jrn.

The Warriors deal may be too hard to get done due to the lack of assets the Nets could receive.

Trey Murphy

The Pelicans have been receiving a lot of interest in their young star, Trey Murphy, as he is having a career year.

Similar to Porter Jrn, Murphy is a player who can fit into any roster, but being on a cheaper contract and a younger age, his value and interest are much higher. The team that seems the perfect place for him is the Detroit Pistons once again.

A deal could look like the Pelicans receiving Jaden Ivey, Tobias Harris and a handful of Picks for Trey Murphy.

Jonathon Kuminga

Kuminga demanded a trade from the Warriors after just signing a contract in the offseason. Ever since being drafted, Kuminga has had a rollercoaster career with the Warriors, and now it's finally the time he gets traded.

Warriors may trade Kuminga anywhere, but the Sacramento Kings seem to be the only team interested in the 23-year-old.

The Warriors have been linked to different stars across the league, meaning a three-team deal could get done so the Kings can get Kuminga and the Warriors can get a player they desire.
